With the start of the new year there has been some movement at the research sites as people finish studies or take up full time work.

Goodbye to three Research Assistants

Sally Greenwood after finishing her post graduate studies and a great trip to Japan has taken up a full time primary school teaching position. Sally will be greatly missed by the team. Sally had a wonderful rapport with the children in the study and had enough energy for all of us. We know Sally will make a wonderful teacher and we wish her the best of luck in her new career. |
| Jenny Cohen has taken up position as a clinical psychologist with NSW Health. Jenny's background is in clinical psychology and while she was a whiz with statistics we hope she enjoys her change of career. Jenny really enjoyed visiting with the children in the study saying she will miss visiting with the little ones and we will miss Jenny too. | ![]() |

Laura Cusack has taken a position as an outside school hours coordinator and as a casual teacher at Macquarie University. While not leaving the University Laura will no longer conduct visits for the study. Laura sends a big thank you to all the families she has spoken to over the phone for taking the time to listen to her "what we would like to do when we visit with your children" spiel. |

Tom Fooks who worked in the Survey Operations Unit at AIFS for two years and conducted the over the phone interviews with parents for the study has finished his studies and moved on to work for the Victorian Department of Innovation, Industry and Regional Development, in a graduate position. Tom really enjoyed working on the project, especially talking to all the families about their children. It really was a great experience for him and we know many families thought Tom did a great job. Good luck Tom. |
